Career Guidance for Every Level
Whether you're starting your first year or finishing a PhD, the guidance looks different depending on where you are. We adjust based on your actual situation.
PhD Support - From First Idea to Funded Place
Most PhD rejections come down to the proposal or the funding application, not the student's ability. Those are the two things we spend the most time on.
PhD Applications Have Specific Failure Points
Most strong candidates who get rejected don't lose because they're not good enough. They lose because the research gap section wasn't clear, or the funding narrative didn't match what the funder was actually trying to fund. Those are fixable problems.
We've worked through enough proposals and funding applications to know exactly where things go wrong - and what needs to change.
Ask About PhD Support
Fully Funded Scholarship Support
Most applications fail because the student applied to something they didn't qualify for, or the essays didn't address what the panel was scoring. We deal with both.
HCPC, NMC & Professional Registration
Applications get delayed or rejected for specific, avoidable reasons. We go through yours before submission so problems come up before they cost you time.
CV, LinkedIn & Interview Preparation
These aren't one-size-fits-all services. Each one is built around the specific roles you're going after and the employers in your sector.

Questions About Our Services
Straightforward answers to what people ask most before booking.
We use the first session to understand your situation - your level, your course, what you're trying to achieve, and what's currently in the way. By the end, you'll have a clear picture of what needs to happen next. If you want to continue after that, we talk through what an ongoing plan would look like. There's no pressure and no card required.
Yes. You don't have to take on a broad career plan if you just need help with one specific thing. A lot of students come to us for a single focused piece of work - a PhD proposal review, an HCPC pre-submission check, a CV rewrite for a specific role. We'll give you a clear quote after the free consultation based on exactly what's needed.
Yes - all sessions are online, so there's no restriction based on where you study. We've worked with students at Russell Group universities, post-92 institutions, smaller colleges, and students based outside the UK who are applying for UK programmes or registrations.
Sessions run over WhatsApp, Zoom, or video call - whichever works best for you. Scheduling is flexible across UK and IST time zones. Most students find WhatsApp the most convenient for follow-up questions and document sharing between sessions.
Yes, and that's actually one of the more common situations we work with. Most rejections come down to specific problems in the proposal or application - the research gap not being clear enough, the funding narrative not matching what the funder wanted, or evidence that wasn't formatted correctly. Once we identify what went wrong, we rebuild around it. Students who've been rejected before and worked with us have gone on to get accepted.
University careers offices do good general work but they typically cover employment basics - CV formatting, job boards, and campus recruitment. We go further into areas most offices don't deal with: PhD applications, HCPC and NMC registration, fully funded scholarships, international student visa pathways, and sector-specific career planning for healthcare, law, and regulated professions. The advice is also one-to-one and built around your actual situation, not a service appointment with a rotating adviser.
Every counsellor holds a PhD, Masters degree, or Level 4 qualification in counselling, and has at least two years of hands-on experience in UK career guidance or academic admissions. They've personally gone through the processes they advise on. We vet every counsellor before they work with students.
